Pitcher no.3

Found china, hydrocal, epoxy, acrylic
5"x 4"x 4"

Picking up sea glass washed onto shores always made me wonder what would happen if the china remained whole. I pictured barnacles encrusting them, strengthening them so that they can gently wash ashore.

The barnacles are sculpted and then molds are made before being cast in hydrocal. Barnacles are then delicately arranged, making themselves at home.
